    under a full moon
    he dances with Garbo - ls

    monkey winds the victrola
    over and over again - tlk

    Dark cycle
    a spiderweb drifts
    in the November sun - ls

    child frightened by a rabbit's
    foot in the gutter - tlk

    Prince of Babylon
    closing my eyes
    against an unwanted birdsong - ls

    walking through the hi-tech store
    turning off all the TVs - tlk

    He died of AIDS
    sleepless all night
    remembering his voice - ls

    to mourn is new art
    between friends - tlk

    Loss of faith
    giving herself the gift
    of lavender potpourri - ls

    in the scented envelope
    the Dear Jane letter - tlk

    Voice of the harp
    in a raven's flutter
